Observation and Teacher Recommendation

After a new student has completed their evaluation test, the next step in our enrollment process is a teacher observation and recommendation. These factors will help us decide which of three levels to place the student in. Then we can customize their educational experience to best help them achieve their academic goals.

Each student will have 2–4 weeks to get comfortable at Optimus Learning School. At the end of this period, the student’s homework club teacher will observe the student and make a recommendation about which of our three academic plans the student should follow: struggling, doing well, or excellent students. Our Optimus teachers will make sure that every student can complete their schoolwork before we decide to move them into any of our enrichment classes.
